“If we look at what he’s [Biden] proposing for the Supreme Court, term limits and what they call an enforceable ethics code, neither one of those is permissible under the Constitution,” said Margot Cleveland, senior legal correspondent for The Federalist, on One America News. “Our Constitution, Article 3, very wisely provides that the judges and the justices are appointed for good behavior. That is a lifetime appointment. You cannot come in and provide for a term limit. This is one of the biggest hoaxes that Biden and his folks are trying to portray.”
