“They’re running new polls. They’re saying Kamala Harris is kind of nearing Donald Trump. But you have to remember, Donald Trump’s numbers are baked in — that includes people who hate him, like him, are mid on him,” Federalist Elections Correspondent Brianna Lyman said on Fox Business. “Kamala Harris hasn’t been given too much publicity, and I think when people start remembering that she was tasked with the border crisis and hasn’t done anything, that she is someone who was picked because she was a diversity hire, not because she had the merits to necessarily do the job, I think they’re going to be a little more resistant to her. And because immigration is a top-three issue, [Harris] is not going to win those independent voters over.”
